How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Freshdirrect Walk-In Tubs does not send anyone to your home. Instead, we connect you with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business. It answers your questions and does the work if you hire it.
Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, though hours vary.
What a Provider May Ask You
Expect simple questions. They help the provider understand your bathroom.
- What kind of project are you thinking about?
- Is the bathroom on the main floor or upstairs?
- How much floor space do you have?
- Does anyone using the bath have balance or mobility needs?
- What is the age of the home?
Photos and rough measurements can help.
Questions Worth Asking a Provider
Bring a short list. Here are some good ones:
- What are my options for this space?
- What will the written quote include?
- Will permits be needed, and who handles them?
- How long will the work take?
- What upkeep does the finished bath need?
- What happens if something goes wrong later?
Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by job. A written quote is the surest way to know your real number.
Before the Visit
If a provider comes to look at your bathroom, a little prep goes a long way. Clear a path to the tub or shower. Know where the water shutoff is. Write down any worries about balance, grip or stepping in and out.
It also helps to have family members join the talk if they will use the bath. Everyone can ask questions at once.
You Stay in Charge
Talking to a provider is not a commitment. You can compare more than one quote. You can ask for time. You can say no.
If you have questions about a safe bathing conversion or a tub replacement, ask before you decide.
